I have previously taken you through my design process of my university project in which I had to create a modular world along with characters and typography using four shapes: a pill, a square, a circle and a triangle. Here are some of the pages from the book I created on my modular world designs:
This it is the front cover. It is Russian in style, and I created i using so many colours so that people would be instantly attracted to it. I needed a design that would suit my typeface so I incorporated more circles into the design.

This is my city scene incorporating my typeface on its side as high rise buildings. I incorporated cars, and a whale into the design. It is so busy on the eye with all the overlaying shapes and colours, but it really works, it is unlike anything I have ever seen. I wanted to take a risk and create something new and exciting, a way that did not follow the traditional style of recreating a city skyline.

This reminds me of something that TOPSHOP would use as a design on their bags, it is very fresh and funny, more feminine than my previous industrial style design. It is designed to represent the man made industry and it effects on the natural environment, it is portraying a green message.

These are a few smaller designs I had also created for pages, one being a sea of flowers that is heavily seventies influenced and one is me experimenting with creating an entire city scene out of my type face and I think that it especially works well.

Hi Karla, not sure if I’d seen these before, but they’re gorgeous! I especially love the 60’s/70’s style sea of flowers.
